Bob Gallop

Bob Gallop, serving his eighth year on the Township Committee, is in his third year of his third term in office. He served as Deputy Bob GallopMayor from 2011-2013. Before being elected to the Township Committee, Bob served as the Chairperson of the Chatham Township Open Space Committee from 2005-2008.

Bob also served as a trustee on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Adult School of the Chathams, Madison & Florham Park from 2005-2007. He has been a member of Chatham’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), from 2005-present. He has also volunteered his time to coach youth sports in Chatham including baseball, soccer and basketball.

Professionally Bob is an attorney at O’Toole Fernandez Weiner Van Lieu LLC where he specializes as a trial attorney involving complex personal injury, construction defect and employment litigation. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney. He was a member of the nationally acclaimed Inn of Court program and was President of the Arthur Vanderbilt Inn of Court from 2003-2004 where he mentored young attorneys in trial practice.

He obtained his AB degree in Political Science and Television-Radio from Syracuse University. He was graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from George Washington University.
