The Chatham Community Garden is now accepting applications from gardeners interested in tending a plot for the 2019 season. Plots at the Community Garden are ideal for people who love to grow fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers, but who don't have enough space or sunshine for a garden at their home, townhouse or apartment.

Full 10X10 plots cost $35 for the entire 2019 season. Half plots are available for $18. Application forms and garden guidelines are available on both the Chatham Borough and Chatham Township websites. All applications should be sent to the borough for processing. Full details are explained on the application.

If you are an existing plot holder but have not yet sent your application and payment for 2019, do so immediately before your plot is reassigned. New applicants should not delay. Last year all garden plots were committed, and plots for 2019 will be assigned from the waiting list starting Jan. 1 on a first come, first served basis.

The goal of the Chatham Community Garden is to provide an environment for individuals and families to grow a thriving garden, to build and nurture community friendships, and to share and grow gardening skills.
