In response to public concerns, a PSEG representative will attend this Thursday's meeting of the Township Committee to discuss tree removal along the utility company's transmission lines.
The PSEG maintenance project along its transmission line right-of-way has sparked public questions and concerns. Attention has been focused on ground disturbance and tree removal adjacent to homes, especially where the power lines cross Fairmount Avenue near Stonewyck and Susan Drive.

Everton Scott, PSEG senior public affairs manager, will answer questions and discuss the reasons for the project and restoration plans.

Interested residents are invited to attend the public Township Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building on Thursday, Jan. 24. The meeting will also be broadcast live on the township's Verizon and Comcast public access channels.
